Facebook Marketplace now powered by Oodle11:20pm Sunday 15 March 2009
Tags: Facebook Marketplace was re-launched last week powered by Oodle. Unfortunately you are only able to search and list items within the US, Canada, UK and Ireland. Previously, the Marketplace was not used extensively for jobs. I anticipate over time that Facebook Marketplace will integrate with job posting software (Broadbean, JobAdder, Adlogic) and create a leading job board to deliver the jobs directly to the users profile.

Tags: It seems Google has recently updated the sponsored links display to add small images or as we like to call them Favicon to its sponsored links. I can’t seem to find anymore information about the changes to the sponsored links or how to add your image via Google Adwords.

So when I heard about someone trying to sell a FREE book/download and sold via eBay (printed by our taxes), I decided to look into this. Although the eBay user states it is a free guide, they have blanked out the website where you can download it for free.

Tags: The Olivier Job Index fell a further 9.08% seasonally adjusted in February, with an average weekly count of 247,800 jobs on the major Australian job boards. The biggest losses were in Trades and Services (down 20.33%), Administration which fell 16.86% and Building and Construction dropped 15.15%. Transport was down 13.36%, and Engineering 13.03%.
